Life Coaching

Life coaching is different from psychotherapy. Therapy focuses on mental health and emotional healing and well-being, with a focus on how the past plays a role on the present while life coaching focuses on setting and achieving goals with an emphasis on the present and future.

Samira is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (RP) currently pursuing her Doctorate in Psychology, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. She is committed to creating a warm, empathetic, and judgment-free space where clients feel comfortable sharing their personal experiences, aiming for greater self-exploration and awareness and understanding.

In therapy sessions, Samira emphasizes collaboration, working alongside her clients to use their inherent strengths, build resilience, and develop effective coping strategies for life’s challenges. She believes therapy is a joint journey toward growth, self-discovery, and positive change.

Samira’s approach to therapy is client-centred, culturally sensitive, faith-based (when requested), and trauma-informed. Samira integrates various therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual’s needs, including Somatic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).
